Lava has launched its Iris X8
smartphone at a price of Rs 8,999. The
Iris X8 sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS
display with ASAHI glass protection. It
runs on an octa-core processor with
2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat
operating system, upgradable to
Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also comes with
an intelligent quick window flip cover
accessory available separately out of
the box. The Iris X8 is powered by a
2500 mAh battery. It has a primary
camera of 8 megapixel with Dual LED
flash, Auto focus and BSI-III sensor
and sports a 3 megapixel front camera.
It also supports full HD Video recording
and digital zoom with built in auto-
focus, panorama, HDR mode, face
detection, smile shot and voice capture.
On connectivity front, the dual SIM
equipped Iris X8 is equipped with 3G
connectivity apart from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
v4.0. It also offers OTG support that
enables file transfer through USB drive.
